Basque group Eta says armed campaign is over

The Basque separatist group Eta says it has called a "definitive cessation" to its campaign of bombings and shootings.

In a statement provided to the BBC, "Eta has decided on the definitive cessation of its armed activity. Eta makes a call to the governments of Spain and France to open a process of direct dialogue which has as its aim the resolution of the consequences of the conflict and thus the conclusion of the armed conflict. With this historic declaration, Eta demonstrates its clear, firm and definitive purpose."

The declaration, if followed through, would bring an end to Eta's campaign of violence, which has lasted more than 40 years and killed more than 800 people.






I think that ETA it's a dangerous terrorist group, and the political had to breack down it a few years ago. The disappearance of the band it's a very important think in SPain, because ETA were the most terrorist group and it killed lots of people. I think it's a good new and a good event for Spain.

SALES

In this text I give my opinion about why the sales start after Christmas. I think that it was a stupid thing because the people who bought a lot of things for him children, parents, friends not want to spend more money still the clothes are a 50% to discount. I think it's more intelligent to put the sales before Christmas and then the people can spend more money and buy more things. An example, in the New Year's Eve the people buy a pretty dress for this important night but a lot of people wears the last year dress because they spend a lot of money for presents and the clothes aee very expensive. On December it's the colest month and the people need winter clothes and if the sales were in December the people can boy more clothes and the shops gets more money!

My name is Eugènia, I am sixteen years years old and I study First Batxillerat at IES Castelló d'Empúries. I was born in Barcelona and when I was 10, I moved to Empuriabrava, and now I stay in the same place. I practised a lot of sports like tennis, gymnastics and swimming, but now I only go to the gym three times a week. In my free time I usually meet friends in Empuriabrava, Figueres or Roses, sometimes my friends and I go shopping to Figueres, Girona or sometimes Barcelona. On Saturday nights I usually go to Chic, Pacha, Saloon, Sikim, Glass, and a lot of discos with all my friends. I like going out on Saturdays, shopping, or doing some many things with my friends. I don't like too much to do my homework and go to the high school, but I have to go. I like going to the cinema but I normally watch films on TV or in the computer because I haven't got a lot of time. Last year, my parents gave me a laptop and I use it a lot, I go to facebook and chat with my friends, see photos, meet new people.. I love facebook!

FACEBOOK

In my opinion facebook is the revolution of all the internet programms because people of every world use it. Facebook has a lot of complements, like load photos, coment on they, put "like", play computer games, publish somethings on the profile of your friends... I use it a lot, because it has all the things in only one programme, before I used Fotolog and Metroflog for loaded photos and I used the Messenger for talking with my friends, but now facebook has all this things on it.
I think it's a good service for young and all people for chattings and for load photos and send messages. Using facebook I spent less money on the mobile phone because all my friends use it and when I need to talk with them they are online in facebook.

In my opinion, facebook is one of the best inventions of the world because people of all the contries use it. I like facebook a lot and I use it all day!
